Plant and headquarter facilities are located in Thomasville, Georgia. Engineering, manufacturing, sales, customer service, and administrative functions are performed in Thomasville. The production facility includes a state-of-the-art test center that is used to perform certified testing and research and development testing. E, F & G SERIES END-SUCTION CLOSE COUPLED OR FRAME MOUNTED CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
Designed for capacities up to 3000 GPM and heads to 330 feet, GRISWOLD E, F & G Series centrifugal pumps can be close coupled, flexible-coupled to electric motors, engines or steam turbines. They can also be belt driven.
E, F & G Series pumps are ideal for a wide variety of liquid pump applications, including crop and turf irrigation, water parks, swimming pools, fountains, air conditioning, water supply systems, and many other general industrial applications.
They are available in a wide range of sizes and performance characteristics. All models are flanged in accordance with ANSI B16.1-1975 for 125 PSI applications.
Standard design features:
Frame - The heavy duty cast iron support head is precision bored for rigid alignment of shaft and bearings. The coupling bearing is locked while the stuffing bearing floats, thus reducing end play to a minimum. Bearing covers include shaft seals to eliminate dirt, water or moisture damage. The precision ball bearings are grease lubricated.
Close Coupled Motors - Standard drip-proof NEMA JM and JP. These close coupled motor designs provide a short shaft overhang and reduce the effects of axial strain on motor bearings. Motor bearings are factory lubricated and sealed for long life. Totally enclosed and explosion proof motors are also available.
Casing - Cast of heavy-duty cast iron, the casing is tapped for drain, vent and pressure gauge. Suction and discharge nozzles are standard ASA flanged type for easy installation. The casing can be rotated for various discharge positions. A suction wear ring is included.
Shaft Sleeve - The renewable bronze shaft sleeve is keyed to the shaft and protects the shaft from abrasion and any contact with the liquid.
Impeller - Single piece enclosed design. Close grain cast bronze, fully balanced with the diameter cut for the specific condition points. High head units have back of impeller vented to suction to achieve hydraulic balance, limit thrust load, and reduce pressure in the sealing area.
Mechanical Shaft Seals - Leakless mechanical shaft seals with steel components eliminate maintenance and adjustment problems. A bypass line on some models helps prevent dead-ending of abrasives in the seal chamber.
Wearing Rings - The renewable precision bronze wearing rings are pressed into the casing and/or adapter as required. Easily replaced in the field.

GRISWOLD 811 ANSI Centrifugal Pumps
GRISWOLDs Model 811 meets or exceeds all ANSI standards for the chemical processing industry. The fully open impeller, centerline discharge, and other unique design features allow the 811 to continue operating long after other ANSI pumps wear out or break down. For example:
A choice of extra-heavy-duty, stocked, Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel, Alloy 20 and CD4M pump materials coupled with multiple seal design options allows you to tailor the 811 to virtually any process flow application.
The fully-open impeller design features large wear areas and back pump-out vanes, making the 811 far superior in handling corrosive and erosive fluids. Open impellers balance hydraulic axial thrust loads, lengthen bearing life, and reduce stuffing box pressure too.
The self-tightening impeller with O-ring seal eliminates part corrosion, gasket leakage, and all chance of loosening in high temperature environments.
Replaceable shaft sleeve and adapters allow easy replacement of sealing surface without shaft and bearing disassembly, without bearing contamination.
Any external clearance adjustments due to wear can easily be made on-site with an ordinary open-end wrench. No shimming is required.

Griswold H Series High Head, Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps

Griswold Vertical Turbine Pumps are available with two types of pump drives . . . vertical hollowshaft electric motor drive or right angle gear drive. Our turbine pumps offer you a choice of two types of lubrication . . . either a water lubricated line shaft or an oil lubricated line shaft construction.
To fit various applications, Griswold discharge heads are available either cast for above ground discharge or fabricated for various discharge configurations. Depending on pumping requirements, our pump bowls are available in 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 diameter.
Impellers available in the various bowl assemblies are of different designs and sizes. All impellers are precision designed, engineered and finished to give highest efficiency. Our impellers are made of high-strength bronze, machine, hand finished and dynamically balanced for top performance and long life.
